The short version

Every calculator on TallyChef runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — recipe costs, tip amounts, labor figures — are never sent to our servers. Some tools save your inputs to your own browser’s local storage so they’re still there when you come back; that data stays on your device and you can clear it anytime from your browser settings.

What we do collect

• Email address — only if you sign up for new-tool announcements. We store it solely to send those announcements, never sell or share it, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Basic analytics — we may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to see which tools are used most, so we know what to build next.
